If you run an art and collectibles seller business, you already know the numbers do not sit still. Resale breaks every assumption built into normal inventory thinking. There is no reorder point, because there is only ever one of the thing. Every item has its own cost basis, bought on its own day, often in cash at a car boot or an auction. Average cost means nothing here.
Sourcing is a cost that hides in plain sight. Fuel to the fair, the pitch fee, the auction commission, the hours spent looking. None of it attaches neatly to any single item, but all of it has to come out of the margin somewhere.
The other awkward thing is time. An item might sit for a year and then sell for a very good price. That is not a failure, it is how the trade works, but it makes cash flow lumpy and makes it easy to confuse a good month with a good business.

Three situations that come up constantly in art and collectibles.
Cashowa charts spending against income by month. When buying consistently runs ahead of selling, that is stock accumulating, and in resale that can quietly absorb everything you have.
Sale price minus what you paid minus platform fees minus postage. Cashowa tracks each of those, and the answer is usually a good deal lower than the headline mark up suggested.
Group the fuel, pitch fees and buying from one trip and set them against what you eventually sold from it. Some trips are genuinely not worth repeating.
Switch between monthly, quarterly and yearly to see the pattern.
Sourcing peaks in spring and summer when fairs and boots are running. Selling peaks in the autumn and before Christmas, so money goes out months before it comes back.
Upload twelve months and the pattern stops being something you half remember. You can switch between monthly, quarterly and yearly, which matters when income arrives in lumps and a single month tells you very little.
Import your sales file and Cashowa works out profit per product, what is selling, and what has not moved in sixty days. Enter what each item costs you once and the margins stop being guesswork.
Add a lead time and it warns you before something runs out, rather than after.

Built around how art and collectibles sell, not around a generic business.
Buying against selling, charted.
The only costing model that makes sense when nothing repeats.
Fuel, fees and commission in one figure so you know what buying really costs.
See what has not moved in sixty days, which in this trade is a pricing signal rather than a panic.
Anything you draw out to buy with is visible as money leaving, so it does not disappear from the picture.
These get recognised and sorted on their own when they turn up on your statement. If something specific to your setup gets filed wrongly, you fix it once and it sticks.
Export a statement, upload it, and the categorising happens on its own.
