How to cancel Walmart+

Online:

1. Sign in at walmart.com → click your name (top right) → Walmart+
2. Scroll to the bottom → click Cancel Membership
3. Confirm. Access continues until billing date.

Annual refund window: Walmart+ refunds the annual fee ($98) if you cancel within 30 days of payment AND haven't used the benefits more than the prorated value. They calculate this case-by-case — call support if it's denied automatically.

What you lose:

• Free shipping (no minimum)
• Free same-day grocery delivery from Walmart stores
• 10¢/gallon discount at Walmart fuel stations
• Paramount+ Essential (the streaming bundle benefit)
• Walmart Rewards (currently a separate program, but bundled in)

Save Paramount+ separately: If the Paramount+ bundle is the main thing you care about, standalone Paramount+ Essential is $7.99/mo — cheaper than Walmart+ ($98/yr = ~$8.17/mo) but you lose the shipping benefits.

Walmart+ Assist: A discounted plan ($49/yr) for users on government assistance programs (SNAP, WIC, etc.). If you qualify, downgrade instead of cancelling.

Annual auto-renewal warning: Walmart+ auto-renews annually at full price. Set a calendar reminder 14 days before your renewal to decide whether to keep it. If you forget, you have 30 days to cancel for a refund.
