How to cancel Uber One
Cancel Uber One in the Uber or Uber Eats app in 2 minutes. Discounted rides and free delivery stop at billing end.
In the Uber app:
- Open Uber → tap your profile (bottom right)
- Tap Uber One
- Scroll to Manage Membership → End membership
- Uber offers a retention discount (often 50% off for a month). Tap End Membership to skip and confirm.
In the Uber Eats app: Same flow — profile → Uber One → Manage → End.
On the web: ubereats.com → profile → Uber One → Manage. Slightly hidden — easier in the app.
You keep Uber. Cancelling Uber One ends the membership benefits (free delivery, % off rides, $0 service fee on Eats orders) but your Uber and Uber Eats accounts continue working at standard pricing.
Annual vs monthly:
- Monthly: $9.99/mo
- Annual: $99.99/yr (~17% savings if you keep it 12 months)
Annual is refunded prorated if you cancel within 14 days of payment. Outside that, you finish out the year.
Free Uber One trials: Many users get a free Uber One trial when they sign up for Uber Eats. If your membership unexpectedly auto-renewed from a "free trial" you didn't realise was active, contact Uber support — they often refund within 7 days of the auto-renewal charge.
Restaurant fee math: Uber One's "$0 delivery fee" benefit applies only to orders $15+ from participating restaurants. The "$5+ savings per ride" benefit applies only on premium ride types (Uber Black, Premier). Check your actual ride/order history before assuming you're saving — a lot of users don't break even on the monthly cost.
