How to cancel Tinder Plus / Gold / Platinum
Cancel Tinder where you bought it — iOS Settings, Google Play, or Tinder's web account. App-side cancel only stops auto-renew.
Where you cancel depends on where you bought it.
iOS: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Tinder → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play Store → profile (top right) → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Tinder → Cancel.
If you subscribed on Tinder.com: Log in at tinder.com → Manage Account → Manage Subscription → Cancel.
You can't cancel iOS subscriptions on tinder.com and vice versa — go to the place that's billing you.
Subscription continues until end of period. Cancelling doesn't refund the current month. Your Boosts, Likes, and other paid features remain active until billing ends.
Profile and matches are separate. Cancelling Tinder Plus/Gold/Platinum doesn't delete your account — you go back to the free tier with limited likes. To delete the account entirely: app → Settings → Delete Account.
Discount note: Tinder runs A/B tests on pricing — the price you pay can vary by region, age, and even gender. If you're paying $30+/month, deleting and re-creating your account sometimes triggers a "new user" discount on resub. (Use a different email.)
