How to cancel Stitch Fix
Cancel Stitch Fix online in 3 minutes. Returns of in-flight boxes go through the normal return process.
Online:
- Sign in at stitchfix.com → click your name (top right) → Account Settings
- Click Manage Account → Subscription
- Click Cancel Auto-Ship (or Cancel Subscription depending on plan)
- Confirm. No more boxes will be sent.
Skip vs cancel: Stitch Fix's "auto-ship" cadence (monthly, every-other-month, quarterly, etc.) can be paused for up to 12 months without cancelling. Useful if you're cancelling for a temporary reason. Same place: Account Settings → Subscription → Skip / Pause.
Cancellation cutoff: If a Fix is already on the way (Stitch Fix has shipped or is preparing), cancelling auto-ship doesn't stop that specific box. You'll still receive it and need to:
- Try on the items
- Keep what you want, pay for those (the $20 styling fee credits toward purchases)
- Return what you don't want using the prepaid bag/label that comes in the box
- Return within 3 days of receipt to avoid being charged for everything
Styling fee refund: The $20 styling fee per Fix is non-refundable unless you keep nothing. If you keep at least one item, the fee credits toward your purchase.
Freestyle (no auto-ship, on-demand shopping): Even after cancelling auto-ship, you keep access to the Freestyle store at stitchfix.com — browse and buy without scheduled shipments. The styling-fee-based Fix is the part you're cancelling, not the account itself.
