2. Click Subscription Settings → Cancel Subscription
3. FT walks through retention offers (often 50% off for 6 months)
4. Click Continue Cancellation to skip → confirm

Phone retention is better. Standard FT Standard is £42/mo ($59/mo); reps can drop you to ~£12-15/mo for a year if you press. Script: "I'd like to cancel — the price is no longer sustainable for my usage."

Refund policy is strict. Under EU/UK consumer law, FT refunds within 14 days of subscription start for digital. Outside that, no refunds — even for annual plans.

Plan tiers:
