How to cancel DoorDash DashPass
Cancel DashPass in the app or online in 3 minutes. Pause for 30/60/90 days if you'd rather come back.
In the DoorDash app:
- Tap Account (bottom right) → Manage DashPass
- Tap Cancel Membership
- DoorDash offers a pause (30, 60, or 90 days) — accept if you might come back
- To actually cancel, tap End Subscription
- Confirm
On the web: doordash.com → Account → DashPass → Cancel.
Pause is genuinely free. DashPass has a "Pause" option that completely halts billing for 30/60/90 days while keeping your account state. It's an honest pause — no charge, no auto-renew during pause. Use it if you're cancelling for a temporary reason (travel, budget month).
Active orders use: You keep DashPass benefits (reduced/free delivery, promo access) until the end of the current billing period.
Free DashPass alternatives: Many credit cards (Chase Sapphire Reserve, Capital One Venture, DoorDash branded cards) include DashPass free. If you have one, you're paying twice. Check before resubscribing.
