How to cancel Blue Apron

Cancel Blue Apron online in 5 minutes. Skip the next week if you just want a break — no commitment.

Online:

  1. Sign in at blueapron.com → click your profile (top right) → Account
  2. Scroll to Subscription Status → click Cancel Subscription
  3. Blue Apron offers skip-the-week and pause options first. Click Continue Cancellation to skip retention.
  4. Choose your final delivery → confirm.

Skip weeks instead: If you're cancelling because of travel or a busy month, Blue Apron lets you skip up to 5 weeks at a time from the calendar — same as HelloFresh. No commitment, no fee, no re-onboarding when you come back.

Cancellation deadline: You have to cancel at least 5 days before your next delivery to avoid being charged for it. Cancel late and the next box ships.

Pause vs cancel: Pause keeps your menu preferences and box history for easy reactivation. Cancel deletes your dietary preferences after 12 months. If you're 50/50 on coming back, pause is the better default.

Refund policy: Blue Apron doesn't refund boxes that have already shipped. If you cancel after the cutoff and don't want the final box, contact 1-888-278-4349 within 2 days of delivery — they sometimes credit your account for the next box (which you can use before cancelling).

Come-back discounts: Like HelloFresh, Blue Apron emails returning users with steep discounts (commonly $80+ off your first 4 boxes). Cancel and wait 2-3 weeks if you'd resubscribe at a discount.
