How to cancel Apple Music
Cancel Apple Music from iPhone/iPad Settings or subscriptions.apple.com. 2 minutes.
On iPhone/iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Apple Music → Cancel Subscription at the bottom.
On Mac: Music app → Account menu → View My Account → sign in → under Subscriptions, Manage → Cancel.
On any browser: subscriptions.apple.com → find Apple Music → Cancel Subscription.
Your library: Cancelling means you lose access to streamed songs, but your purchased music stays. Songs you added to your library that were Apple Music-only become greyed out. They reappear if you re-subscribe.
Switch to Apple One? If you also have iCloud+, Apple TV+, or Arcade, the Apple One bundle ($19.95/mo Family) is cheaper than buying each separately. Worth checking the math before cancelling — sometimes "cancel Apple Music" is actually "consolidate into Apple One."
